J.Antonio Salgado-Martin Gothenburg, Sweden Hello, I have been working in 3D animation for seventeen years making television series, films some games and commercials. One of my recent works has been my collaboration in the remake of 'Alone in the Dark', the horror classic game of the 90's. I have been using Maya professionally for seventeen years, Motion Builder for five years and Unreal for the last three years. There is a strong cinematic component in my experience as an animator and I can adapt to different styles of animation. I have been working in the past for many television shows for children and also films. I have animated characters (including facial animation and lipsynch), creatures, animals. I have also experience preparing the layout of scenes and animating cameras. Maya is the software I use more frequently at work and I'm constantly learning new techniques and workflows. I like giving life to all sorts of characters through believable performances involving good timing, posing and spacing. I have good working knowledge of Blender and I can create simple Python scripts to speed up my workflow in Maya. I'm also knowledgeable about rigging, skinning and modelling. The achievements in my career that I'm more proud of include my collaboration in 2016 for Steven Spielberg's 'Ready Player One' as a mocap clean-up artist. I was part of a small team of animators responsible for the shots that were used in the previsualization of the film. Other achievements which has left their mark on me are my work for the development of 'Alone in the Dark' (Pieces Interactive) and the time I spent animating episodic series and films for the studio Czech Anim (PFX, Prague). I have had the chance of working in many countries and with people from all over the world. I speak fluently three languages (Spanish, English, French) and I enjoy discovering new cultures and places. Animation is my work in a wide spectrum of forms and genres. I'm a story teller and I'm highly motivated to embark on my next project. In the end words are easy, I could fill pages talking about my motivation but what really matters is your own performance at work and there I have a lot to say.
