I have worked as a self employed Tattoo Artist and Illustrator for 20+ years. I work manually with paints, inks and pencils. I can turn to Procreate if digital is required. I am used to designing for tight deadlines and make adjustments as needed.
This image was first drawn by hand in pencil and afterwards stippled effect was added using digital media. The final image was used in a wedding on the side of list of activities. ( While the peacock was obviously not a part of the list, the premises where the celebration was held had many resident peacocks, providing interest and beauty to the event.)
Image shows two small birds in a blackberry bush. Done in pencil on paper.
Acryllic on paper. The image shows a matryoshka doll with a courting shy male figure offering a flower. A dove with a love letter flies between the two signalling a beginning of new love.
The image is made in white on a black wall. It is a line drawing of a wet dog shaking the water off it's fur. I was given a free choice of mural painting for a popular cafe. At the time, talking with the cafe owner, it was clear he wanted to promote new daytime opening hours and dog friendly attitude. The cafe commissioned and hosted an independently made short film about dogs and their owners in the dogpark next door. My mural was made on a rounded wall facing the window and the bar. I used POSCA pens for this project. I wanted to keep the mural simple and monochrome and play with the idea of the water sprinkling along the wall.
All commissions considered and illustrative works for books and magazines accepted.
My painting was auctioned immediately, bringing funds to the chosen charity of the organiser.
A mural for the most popular Jazz venue in the Southwest of England, welcoming dogs to the cafe, I painted a large line drawing of a wet fluffy dog shaking itself on a curved wall. Adding humour and lightness to the mural.
