The image is made in white on a black wall. It is a line drawing of a wet dog shaking the water off it’s fur.
I was given a free choice of mural painting for a popular cafe. At the time, talking with the cafe owner, it was clear he wanted to promote new daytime opening hours and dog friendly attitude. The cafe commissioned and hosted an independently made short film about dogs and their owners in the dogpark next door.
My mural was made on a rounded wall facing the window and the bar. I used POSCA pens for this project.
I wanted to keep the mural simple and monochrome and play with the idea of the water sprinkling along the wall.
