    Sudd Library

    Sudd Library is an open-access, offline-first educational platform I built after volunteering as a teacher in Nimule, South Sudan, and seeing how few digital resources existed there in the national curriculum.

    The problem: Schools were relying on Ugandan and Kenyan materials because South Sudanese curriculum content simply easily accessible digitally.

    What I built: A lightweight, offline-first web platform (built with Astro) that stays usable in low-bandwidth environments — structured and indexed lesson notes, schemes of work, and learning resources across subjects and grade levels.

    Status: Live and actively serving students and educators. Ongoing outreach with partner organizations (e.g. Teachers Without Borders) to expand available content.
