Hi, I’m Illaria “Ari” Shea Wessling. I earned a BA in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and English with a Creative Writing concentration from Cornell College and am pursuing an MS in Forensic Science (Criminalistics track) at UC Davis. My hands-on lab experience spans brain tissue case studies, DNA work, and heavy metals analysis, and I enjoy translating complex science into clear, engaging writing and reports. When I’m not in the lab, I love creative writing, crafting, and volunteering. I’ve organized student craft fairs and contributed to community science projects. I’m fluent in English with beginner Spanish and ASL and look forward to applying my analytical mindset and storytelling skills in a collaborative role.
