Architect & Researcher at Fardous Tower Hotel

March 1, 2024 - August 1, 2024

Contributed to a government-funded restoration of five historic houses in Old Damascus to a 4-star hotel. Researched architectural heritage and redesigned key spaces to honor their original spatial language while developing it further. Directed the redesign of Iwans, courtyards, and elevations: a practice in cultural precision as much as design. Worked within a cross-disciplinary team of architects, historians, and engineers to produce outcomes sensitive to context and contemporary use.
