    C3 Ignite Church — Brand Identity (Accra)

    Overview

    A full brand identity system developed for C3 Ignite Church Accra — a community built on the concept of being ignited by His love. The brief was to translate a rich theological concept into a cohesive, bold visual language.

    The Concept

    The identity is rooted in the duality in singularity — the idea that God’s love is simultaneously warm and correcting, gentle and powerful. Every visual decision reflects this tension: bold display type alongside soft serif, hot orange alongside cool blue, geometric shapes alongside organic forms.

    What I designed

    • Logomark — A standalone spark/community icon combining ignition, people, magnetic love, and community into one mark
    • Logotype system — Multiple lockups (standalone, with C3 mark, full church name, location variants)
    • Colour system — Primary palette: Holy Ghost Blue, Ignition Red, Divine Blue, Midnight Black, True Vine Green, Heaven White
    • Typography — Galgo (bold display), Instrument Serif (headers), Uncut Sans Variable (body)
    • Visual language — Shape language, photographic style, type-as-texture layouts
    • Brand applications — Merch (t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts), poster design, social assets
