Dahlia's Special Wish, Book Cover Illustration

Cover illustration for the children’s picture book Dahlia’s Special Wish, written by Nwabata Adaeze Abioye. The piece introduces Dahlia, a curly-haired girl daydreaming at a table, with a sparkling wish-fulfillment fantasy — a princess version of herself — floating in the starry sky behind her. Soft pastel purples and pinks were used throughout to give the cover a dreamy, whimsical feel appropriate for the story’s theme of wishes and imagination.
