Born in Chisinau in 1986, she began studying flute at the musical lyceum "S.Rachmaninov", graduating in 2007 at the “L.Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence. She studied contemporary music with Michele Marasco (ORT, Florence) and piccolo flute with Maurizio Simeoli (La Scala, Milan) at the Conservatory of Milan, where she graduated with honors (110 cum laude) as Master of Arts in Music Performance with Mº Rocco Abate in 2010. The following year she obtained a diploma in sound engineering (Audio Technology) at the “La Scala Theater Academy” . She attended Master classes held by Giampaolo Pretto, Andrea Oliva, Enrico Cannata, Jean-Claude Gérard, Bruno Cavallo, Maurizio Valentini, Davide Formisano e Peter-Lukas Graf. She played as a soloist and in chamber ensembles performing at national and international festivals: “Novara Jazz Festival”, Novara (Italy); European Youth Festival, Isny (Germany); “Les Jeunesse Musicales de Méditerranée”, Corsica (France); “Tutto in Gioco”, Civitanova-Marche (Italy); Literary Award “PEN”, Compiano-Parma (Italy), Festival “Pian Nava”, Beè- Verbania (Italy), Festival of Wind Instruments, Novara (Italy), “Baveno Festival Umberto Giordano”, Baveno (Italy). Anna was invited to participate in many international festivals like MiTo, Chiostro, Humanitarian Society and Milan Concert Society. In 2009 she performed for Ennio Morricone and Nicola Piovani playing their music for flute and piano with the pianist Luigi Zanardi. She is the winner of numerous international competitions. Anna regularly plays with pianists Irene Veneziano and Stefano Ligoratti, harpist Silvia Minardi and cellist Matilda Colliard. As a first/second/piccolo flute she collaborated with various orchestras and ensembles under the direction of Daniele Gatti, Stefano Ligoratti, Alessandro Bombonati, Gilberto Serembe, Sandro Cerino and others. She had the opportunity to perform in various halls and theaters such as Sala Puccini (Milan), Sala Verdi (Milan), Auditorium San Dionigi (Vigevano), Auditorium “La Verdi” (Milan), Fraschini Theatre (Pavia), Dal Verme Theatre (Milan). She collaborated as personal assistant with the conductors Sandro Cerino and Claus Peter Flor. In addition to classical music she explores the various musical genres, ranging from jazz to indie rock. Currently, she collaborates with many emerging and internationally renowned artists. She works as an arranger, creating orchestrations and preparing musical, radio, television, and advertising productions.
