Education

Scoring for Film, Television and Videogames at Berklee College of Music
September 1, 2021 - July 31, 2022
Visual media is everywhere, from full-length feature films and television to web series and immersive video games. Whether you see it on an IMAX screen or a smartphone and whether you hear it in 7.1 surround sound or on a pair of earbuds, the experience is enhanced by the accompanying music. The craft of creating this music has become one of the world’s most desirable careers. This one-year intensive master of music degree focuses on the art and craft of composing, orchestrating, editing, and producing music for the screen using the latest technology. Students lead recording sessions with professional session musicians and receive in-depth instruction in narrative analysis, orchestration, and the use of dramatic effects to support the story.
Music Technology (Bachelor of Arts - BA) at HKU (Hogeschool van de Kunsten Utrecht)
September 1, 2015 - July 31, 2019
This program offered a blend of music, sound, and technology with a focus on creating immersive sound experiences for interactive media. Graduating in this path, I specialized in designing sound systems that enhance emotions and environments in games and other interactive applications. The course covered sound design, music production, and the principles of sound perception, providing insights into how sound affects user experiences. Hands-on projects and experimentation with systems like FMOD, Wwise, and AI were integral, allowing me to develop both practical skills and a critical approach to sound interaction. Through exposure to various genres and cultural perspectives, I gained the tools to design dynamic soundscapes and make informed creative choices, building a foundation for a versatile career in interactive sound design.
