I’m passionate about clear line drawing and have a background in applied arts and art history. In 2014, I founded BenoîtDessine to help organizations make complex topics easy to understand through clear, engaging visuals.
Since then, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients including Stellantis, LVMH, the European Space Agency, Axa, or Aix-Marseille University. My work bridges art and communication, offering visual solutions for explaining processes, sharing ideas, and making messages stick.
Whether it’s live drawing, visual facilitation, illustration, or educational content, I bring clarity where there’s complexity — always with a clean line.
Producing an explainer video. The video contrasts two methods for analyzing plasmid preparations: traditional agarose electrophoresis, which takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and Tosoh’s HPLC method using the TSKgel® DNA-NPR anion exchange column, which delivers results in just 5 minutes. A Tosoh representative introduces the HPLC solution, highlighting its speed and efficiency compared to conventional techniques.
Ixaka is a cell and gene therapy company focused on the body’s natural ability to heal itself. In this video, they wanted to showcase their innovative nanoparticle technology, which stimulates the patient’s immune system to eliminate cancer cells by strengthening the body’s defenses, unlike chemotherapy, which attacks cancer cells directly.
Promocell is a company that offers cell culture products, including human primary cells, stem cells, and blood cells, optimized cell culture media, and a comprehensive range of cell biology research products. In this video, they wanted to showcase the immunomodulatory capacity of mesenchymal stem cells.
For Labsexplorer, a platform uniting key players in scientific research, I created a whiteboard explainer video that clearly presents its mission, features, and impact. My role involved crafting the visual storytelling and motion design to simplify complex concepts and engage a broad audience. The video combines dynamic illustrations with a clear narrative to highlight how Labsexplorer fosters collaboration, visibility, and innovation in the research ecosystem. From scripting to final animation, I ensured the content was accessible, informative, and aligned with the platform’s values.
