While earning my bachelor’s degree at Bradley University, I developed skills in team management, collaboration, and organizing tasks for myself and my peers. My experiences with tools such as C# in Unity, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Word allowed me to develop technical and creative skills for any work environment. In certain instances, I would help to create design concepts for levels and enemies in game development, while also working as quality assurance in testing other people’s projects and products. By collaborating with my peers, I was able to meet the deadline in my tasks while also helping others achieve their goals. In addition, I have also gained valuable experience throughout each of my voluntary work positions. As a shelf stocker in the Crystal Lake Food Pantry, I developed organizational skills through sorting products based on quality and condition. In “Feed My Starving Children”, I learned extra communication skills from interacting with my colleagues to ensure each package is equally distributed and delivered. Lastly, my experience at The Purr-fect Cat Rescue Shelter taught me to be mindful of my working environment by placing more effort and care into feeding the cats and keeping them safe instead of getting distracted.
