Since graduating Skurups Film and Television education in 1992 in Sweden, I have built up a solid client base in Scandinavia and I have traveled extensively to locations both close to home and far away, filming primarily for television and corporate companies. My interest for working with challenging and sensitive topics developed while filming more than 90 interviews with Holocaust survivors for the Shoah Foundation and The Living History Forum between 1996- 2000. Between 1999-2004 I directed, filmed, edited and produced 3 documentaries that were broadcast on SVT (Swedish national television). I am an approved ̈Preferred Supplier ̈ for Sony in southern Sweden since 2020, where I have made a number of films for Sony-Nimway, Sony-Criotive and Sony SafeTrx. I film regularly for companies like Tetra-Pak, IKEA, Hövding and advertising bureaus around Sweden who produce campaigns for a wide range of clients and products. I have worked as d.o.p on numerous TV documentary series and a couple of awarded documentary features. (Football for Better an Worse, director Inger Molin- Golden Whistle Award 2018 in NYC and Lindy, the Return of Little Light- New Nordic Voice award at Nordisk Panorama 2019.) Whether it’s filming portraits of celebrities for Cultural shows, or charity galas, children’s, architectural, current affairs, sport, economy and music programs or filming Prime time shows like Antique Roadshow, Survivor, House Dreams, I am just as comfortable leading a multi-camera team or as solo camera operator, responsible for gathering, picture, sound and content for documentaries. ̈Content is king ̈, but it should look good a too! Lighting complex sets in studios or green screens, multi-cam interviews, product shots or out on location is what I have doing for more than 20 years. I am a Steadicam owner / operator since 2013 and proficient with gimbals and drones, which have become basic equipment these days. Bill has water housings for professional cameras and enjoys the challenges of battling the elements. Many of my clients also require high resolution portrait photographs for their campaigns and events, which I will gladly supply if needed.
