I am a composer, producer, and performer whose work bridges Persian traditional music and contemporary electronic sound. My artistic practice explores cross-cultural hybridity through electroacoustic composition, audiovisual design, and performance, combining acoustic Persian instruments such as the Shoorangiz and Setar with modern synthesis, sampling, and sound processing. I began playing music at the age of 14 and have since developed a multifaceted career as a freelance musician, composer, and producer for ﬁlm, moving image, and performance. After relocating to Europe as a refugee in 2012, I rebuilt my artistic practice through study and creation, completing three music-related qualiﬁcations in Finland and the UK. This period shaped my artistic identity profoundly, inspiring a vision rooted in resilience, adaptation, and the transformative power of sound. I have worked internationally across Finland, the UK , Iran and Turkey as a performer, composer, and educator. My compositions have featured in online library music websites in order to be synched on documentaries, short ﬁlms, and advertisements. My recent Persian electronic album was released through Absolute Production Music, whose catalogue supplies major broadcasters including the BBC.
