Brendan Eder’s music has a distinctive mark of authenticity and sophistication, which directors repeatedly seek him out for. Eder wrote the original score for “Leap of Faith,” directed by Nicholas Ma and produced by Morgan Neville (Won’t You Be My Neighbor). Eder also scored several Ari Aster films including “The Strange Thing About the Johnsons” and “Basically” starring Rachel Brosnahan. His music was recently featured in “American Seams,” which premiered on the PBS POV and LA Times Short Docs.
In addition to creating original scores for feature films, shorts, and television Brendan also composes for advertisements, and his ensemble releases are regularly licensed for film and television. Brendan lives in Echo Park, Los Angeles.
