Hi, I’m Bruce Erick Powe Jr, a Graduate from College for Creative Studies with BFA in Entertainment Design Animation. I was lucky enough to serve as an Ambassador for the CCS Entertainment Department for two consecutive years. My work spans from storytelling, Sakuga animation, Action Storyboarding and I’ve collaborated with teams across education and industry. I’m currently focused on creating dynamic, sakuga-inspired animation for Arms Masters, a pilot based on an existing comic series, working closely with the director to bring the vision to life. In addition to my art practice, I’ve contributed to education and mentorship at Apple, teaching foundational app development concepts while emphasizing design principles, color theory, coding, and UI/UX. I also mentor youth through College for the Creative studies in Detroit, Michigan. I have supported background layouts and color designs for ad campaigns. I value deadlines, teamwork, and making complex ideas approachable through clear storytelling and thoughtful design.
