Hi! I’m Cate Gresalfi, a sequential arts and storyboarding graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design. I am a storyteller at heart and love designing vibrant worlds through 2D illustration. I am especially skilled with background art but I have experience in other areas such as character design, storyboarding, prop design, and general illustration. I have experience working from rough stages all the way to finished works. I’ve worked as an Intern Background Artist with Dream Arc Studio creating isometric layouts and developing animation backgrounds, and I’ve also volunteered on a 2D side-scrolling game by assisting with lineart for background assets. Outside of my art roles, I bring a strong work ethic from fast-paced, customer-facing work, always focusing on getting work done in a timely manner, along with communication and attention to detail.
