As a Multimedia Designer at Joyce Meyer Ministries, a non-profit in St. Louis, MO, I have gained comprehensive professional experience in all facets of design. I entered the organization as a graphic designer, and, because of my aptitude for project management alongside design, I was promoted to Designer/Producer, managing my own project timelines and deliverables. Then, because of my skill across multiple mediums, I advocated for a new position in the creative department as Multimedia Designer, working on both the print, digital, and apparel/experiential design team. I was the first and only designer to hold this multifaceted role. Through that experience, I learned to keep brand consistency across many departments, collaborate with interdepartmental teams, work independently, track successes and areas for improvement, and blaze my own trail for the betterment of the creative team. Collaborating with production designers, writers, management, hair and makeup, producers, directors, and fellow designers has given me well-rounded experience working with different teams to achieve a shared goal. Since relocating to Boston in fall 2024, I have maintained a contracted position with the ministry completing the same tasks from states away. As an example of my skill in working across all elements of a design project, I was the creative lead for one of the books JMM published called Healing the Wounds of Rejection. For this book, I designed the book cover and campaign brand from brainstorming to preparing and delivering the files to the production team. I then created all digital and print promotions as well as display signage for the conferences and events at which the book was promoted and sold. This kind of end to end design and production experience is something that I am excited to bring to your team.
