A documentation of research processes and design thinking in approaching the project “Moodie Pals” together with production documentation and outcomes.
Reminiscence explores moments of personal meaning by drawing inspiration from texts, music, and shared experiences. Identified keywords are interpreted into visual concepts, then translated into illustrations that express the emotions and ideas behind them. Through this reflective process, the project invites viewers to pause, look back, and find their own connections to the themes presented.
A Silent Voice is a personal exploration of form, emotion, and the unspoken. This project looks at the shapes we take on when we hide, reveal, or navigate vulnerability. It shows how abstract forms can express emotional states that words often can’t hold.
The visuals were hand-drawn and extruded in Illustrator, allowing each piece to feel both structured and fragile. Through shifting shapes and gradients, the work reflects the quiet tension between internal experience and outward expression.
- Crafts of China captures the textures, tools, and hands that continued long standing traditions.

- The Origin of Glaze, illustrated the experimental, labour-intensive journey behind glaze development, showcasing the patience and innovation involved in ceramic culture.
Crafts of China is a visual documentation project inspired by my travels across China, focusing on the country’s deep heritage in ceramics and material craft.
Presented as a three-part poster series, the project highlights different dimensions of Chinese craftsmanship:

Through photography, typography, and graphic abstraction, the series honours China’s legacy as a porcelain capital and its ongoing relationship with craft, experimentation, and material knowledge.
This project investigates the intergenerational cycle of emotional suppression in Singapore. Historically, individuals managed difficult emotions through distraction, a behaviour that continues among Gen Z university students, now intensified by constant digital engagement and instant gratification. Over time, such avoidance weakens emotional coping abilities and contributes to declining mental health. In response, we designed an AI robot companion that promotes emotional reflection. Activated through a physical press, it interrupts passive avoidance and guides users through reflective conversations, enabling them to acknowledge, process, and understand their emotions. Ultimately, fostering stronger emotional awareness, resilience, and overall psychological well-being.
“Packed for you” is an inclusive packaging project that is targeted for visually disabled persons with blurred vision and complete blindness. From research studies, researchers have found that by 2035 Semakau landfill would be completely filled. In 2021, out of the 1.82 million tonnes of domestic waste in Singapore, packaging waste contributes to one third of it. As a result, “Packed for you” is a project of reducing excess materials in packaging and at the same time being inclusive to the visually disabled
