    paper Morris Le Fang

    Morris Le Fang is a personal narrative illustration project exploring visual storytelling through environment, mood, and character context.

    The story follows Morris, a young vampire boy who has been sheltered his entire life and is about to step outside for the first time. The setting focuses on the threshold between safety and the unknown — an underground world connected to an old church and cemetery above.

    This project features establishing shots of the same scene in both daytime and nighttime to explore tone, emotion, and narrative contrast. The process includes line art and final painted illustrations, emphasizing composition, lighting, and atmosphere to support story and emotion.
