Hi, I’m Clemens, a Houdini FX artist with over a decade of experience working with 2D and 3D software. I began by drafting blueprints for lighting layouts in residential and commercial buildings and gradually expanded to constructing 3D building models to facilitate lighting calculations and visualizations. Driven by a fascination with 3D, I shifted toward advanced visualization tools and initially used Blender before focusing on Houdini to dive deeper into simulations and procedural content creation.
Since early 2021 I’ve worked part-time as a freelancer, primarily in architectural and product visualization. Although I still use Blender for freelance projects, Houdini is my main tool due to my interest in simulations and proceduralism. I’ve deepened my Houdini expertise over the past years in simulations (particles, RBD, Vellum, Pyro, Flip Fluids), Solaris/Karma workflows, and Python scripting. I’m actively pursuing Houdini FX artist roles but am also open to positions involving lighting and general 3D artistry using Houdini as my main tool.
