Jacob Martin

Hi, I’m Jacob Martin, also known as The Coaster Composer. I’m a Seattle-based musician and composer with more than 10 years of experience writing rock, soundtrack, and electronic music, and over 14 years as a percussionist. I’ve soundtracked theme park attractions and related media for over four years, bringing cinematic energy to immersive experiences.

I hold an Associate Degree in Music and Audio Production from Shoreline Community College, and I release original electronic material under the name Close to the Sun. I’m creatively driven, collaborative, and excited to grow with teams on new projects that blend music, storytelling, and immersive environments.
