I have earned a BS in print journalism and a MS in rhetoric and professional communications. As both a fiction and nonfiction writer, I have worked as a poet, memoirist, creative nonfiction writer, technical writer, academic writer, documentarian, journalist and photojournalist. Additionally, I have written, co-written, and edited for newspapers, magazines, individuals, and scholars. I continue to pursue my passion for writing, and I am currently a contributing member of the JOY Writers, a writing group in my hometown of Roswell, NM. This group is led by a respected and accomplished writer/teacher in our community. I also continue to pursue my art as a photographer and collage maker. Both my photographs and collages are currently in various shows and galleries in this area. Whether it be fiction or nonfiction, I love the art of expression and I am particularly enamored by the nuances of the written word and other art forms.
