3D Artist at Animar 3D

-Character Conceptualization. Brainstorming, sketching and choosing the right color palette to better suit the character's personality. -Character Creation. Creating character illustrations and model sheet to better understand how they will look in the final product. -Character Modeling. Box Modeling the character using 3D software paying close attention to detail to keep it consistent. -Character PBR Texturing. Creating textures to flesh out the characters using softwares such as substance and further editing on Photoshop to match the right character aesthetics. -Character Animation. Bringing characters to life by animating them in Maya. -Animation Clean Up. Double checking animations and baking the animations to add small details and better achieve the director's vision. -Video Editing. Compiling all of the scenes into one video file to slowly build up each single episode. -Post Production Editing. Double checking the previous edit, keeping an eye on any inconsistency like noise, color imbalances and making sure everything matches the right timing.

    The vision our director had was a love triangle between the fit guy, the chubby guy and the main girl in the show. The series would follow both male character's adventures or rather misadventures trying to conquer Camie's heart. And more characters were to be added. Main inspiration came from character designs from popular animated tv shows and films and the humor was inspired by old classics like Tex Avery. As for the Franconia Brewery- This was a different project in which I participated as a freelancer. The idea was to be a 'Western' like commercial with a character resembling a famous hero like Clint Eastwood shooting ale bottles open.
