Client: A large reinsurance company
Interactive map assets for various landing pages (freelance mandate).
Based on georeferenced maps such as Mercator or Robinson projections, I develop interactive and responsive web assets for landing pages for one of the world’s largest reinsurance companies. These assets are displayed full-screen and, depending on the product, information is structured and sortable differently. All content is read from a single dataset, allowing easy updates. The established workflow ensures accessibility and seamless web integration. The map assets support:
• API Demo (based on provided UX design)
• Financial & Structured Solutions
• Internships
• Case studies Public Sector Solutions (collaboration with Jessica Martin)

Client: A large reinsurance company
Design and development of a scrollytelling format (freelance mandate).
On the 100th anniversary of the Kanto Earthquake in Japan, we developed a scrollytelling format for the landing page of the online article “The 100-year legacy of Japan’s Great Kanto Earthquake”, including a Japanese version. Scrollytelling is an interactive web story animated by scrolling. Together with Jessica Martin, who created the illustrations, I defined the concept, timing, and animations. I was responsible for the screen design, including responsive design for desktop screens (landscape format) and small screens (portrait format), as well as for the technical implementation in accordance with the workflow we use for several digital products.

Client: A large reinsurance company
Design and development of interactive infographics (freelance mandate).
For one of the world’s largest reinsurance companies, I design and develop interactive and responsive web charts for various online articles. In the team, we established a workflow using open web technologies (such as various JavaScript libraries), which provides flexibility in design while ensuring precise branding implementation. A minimal app developed by me automates various tasks within this workflow. For example, it can instantly convert complex tables into responsive grids or generate isolated (scoped) code snippets for seamless CMS integration. Currently, we are taking our workflow to the next level with AI-assisted scripting.

Client: SVIT Zürich
Communication materials for workshops and their outcomes.
SVIT Zürich, the Zurich branch of the Swiss Association of Real Estate Professionals, regularly initiates practice-oriented research projects. For the Brown Bag Meetings held in this context, we developed a distinctive visual identity (based on the SVIT Zürich logo) to promote the events with ads and animated social media assets. The visual identity features a characteristic typeface and key visuals that often reference games or sports. For each meeting, we create a dedicated key visual and design a publication that follows this key visual and its color palette, presenting the insights and outcomes.

Client: SISA
Character development, campaign visuals, and social media assets for digital security awareness.
To raise awareness about cybersecurity topics such as cyberbullying or data protection, iBarry was created by the Swiss Internet Security Alliance (SISA). We supported the project from the start and developed the illustrative character of a slightly less cumbersome St. Bernard dog. Through numerous implementations of animated and static visuals (Motion Design: Janine Schärer), we refined the style and character traits of iBarry and occasionally depicted the character with family members or as a younger version. We are delighted that iBarry can explore the wide world alongside other agencies and wish our four-legged friend many valuable experiences.

Clients: Zimraum, SVIT Zürich
Information materials for socially responsible eviction processes.
Renovations and evictions are long-term processes. When tenants are informed early and transparently, they can better prepare for upcoming changes. To improve understanding among stakeholders and for the processes, interest and industry representatives developed guidelines for socially responsible eviction processes. For this project, we developed a visual identity and designed a brochure, flyer, information sheets with case examples, and teaser animations for promotion and social media. To represent different solution paths and unify the design, we developed a game-board-like process concept together with the editorial team.

Clients: Glarus Nord, Zimraum
Design concepts and implementation for participation processes in Glarus Nord.
For the future planning of the municipality of Glarus Nord, participatory processes are implemented. To foster a common understanding, a guide was created, designed and produced in accordance with the municipality’s CI/CD. To visually map project types, phases, target groups, and suitable forms of participation, we assigned the content to elements of a fictional board and card game. The guide is distributed in print and available as a downloadable PDF. For the website and social media, we created an animated teaser. Motion Design: Janine Schärer.

Client: Zimraum
Infographics and layout for accompanying studies and project documentations.
In collaboration with the social science planning and development office Zimraum, we produce infographics for various publications. Depending on the project, we develop or expand design concepts, apply existing guidelines, and also produce the publication layout. When required, we create a distinct visual appearance, for example using photography, and derive both digital and analog applications for communication measures. Motion Design: Janine Schärer.
