I am a London-based Welsh composer of some 280 works, I hold degrees in Composition from the Royal College of Music, the University of Oxford and the Cracow Academy of Music. Steve Reich called my work 'Morning': "Real honest stuff". My music has been commissioned and performed by groups such as The London Mozart Players, enSEmble 262, and the Erato Piano Trio, with notable broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and performances at venues including Wigmore Hall, The Purcell Room, and King’s Place. My work spans orchestral, chamber and vocal genres, including three symphonies, a viola concerto, over 90 works involving guitar and numerous solos for piano, mandolin and lute. My music blends intricate counterpoint and expressive harmony. I am an expert in instrumentation, orchestration and fugue/counterpoint. My instruments are classical guitar, electric guitar, mandolin, and Renaissance lute.
