My name is David Briot, and I am currently working as a freelance digital communication professional through my company, Strategie Briot, based in Strasbourg. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Communication, specialized in Communication Strategy, obtained in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, France. I have always been deeply interested in the creative dimension of advertising and in the many ways a brand can express its identity and values through social media platforms. During my studies, I completed two internships in roles closely related to social media and content creation. The first took place at École de Roville, a school specialized in horticulture and landscaping. My main responsibility was to develop and manage the school’s TikTok account by promoting campus life and educational programs in a creative and engaging way. I also had the opportunity to help prepare the Open Day, one of the most important events for the school, which required strong coordination and communication skills. My second internship was with Association Foyer Notre Dame, an organization supporting refugees and migrants by providing shelter and long-term assistance. My primary mission was to create and schedule content for the association’s flagship event, La Semaine des Réfugiés. The motion design content I produced was broadcast on digital advertising screens throughout the city of Strasbourg, making this experience both professionally rewarding and highly impactful. Building my own company has been a significant learning curve, particularly in administration, strategy, and self-promotion. For the first time, I had to actively position my own brand, promote my services, and manage communication projects independently. This experience allowed me to develop a more agile, results-driven, and autonomous way of working, beyond a purely academic framework.
