Hi, I’m Derrick Wall, a independent 3D artist focusing on character and environment design for games and film. I create production-ready assets using Maya and Blender, texture with Substance Painter and Photoshop, and rig and animate characters for engaging storytelling. I collaborate closely with directors and artists to deliver polished assets on time and to hand off clean, well-organized files.
I’ve modeled, UV-mapped textures, and built environments in Blender, rigged characters with robust animation pipelines, and produced 3D animations and environment pieces featured in juried exhibitions. I work with faculty and curators to prepare exhibition-ready renders and install materials, and I’m always looking for new freelance and collaborative opportunities to push visual storytelling further.
