In 2020, I started making music on a computer through a DAW, which was Ableton Live 10 Lite. I watched YouTube videos on how to use Ableton Live, and then taught myself how to use the MIDI and functions to put the music together. In 2021, I applied for a college bachelor’s program, and throughout the course, I was introduced to Pro Tools and Logic Pro which are the two main DAWs I use present day. On Pro Tools, that is where I learned how to mix and master using dynamic effects, including Compressor, EQ, Reverb, Limiter, Panning, and dB mixing. For Logic Pro, that is where I learned how to use Apple Loops, Audio/MIDI tracks, and Automation. Logic Pro is also where I compose most of my music using MIDI, and Pro Tools is where I mostly mix audio tracks (e.g. vocal tracks).
