Cheng Zhong grew up in Hefei, China and attended Emerson College’s film production program in 2020. After the first year of his college, he worked in Hengdian World studio as the body double of the main character, Zhu Zhanji, in the Chinese TV series ‘The Worship of the Delicacy’ that premiered on February 22, 2022. Cheng then directed Piano Voices from Yale to China, which is a 53-minute-documentary distributed by the Chinese video platform Tencent Video, Tencent Music and Tencent Art. Cheng now continues his study to achieve a MFA degree in American Film Institute class of 2025 majoring film editing. His main career goal is to become an industrial filmmaker for a major production company.
