Children’s Book Cover Recreation — I Don’t Want Curly Hair

A personal children’s book cover recreation inspired by the visual style and playful character-driven design of I Don’t Want Curly Hair. The project focuses on creating an engaging cover composition through expressive character illustration, bold typography, vibrant colors, and a playful visual hierarchy designed to appeal to young readers.

The design explores how illustration and typography can work together to communicate a book’s personality and theme at a glance. Particular attention was given to the character’s expression, color balance, title placement, and overall composition to create a visually memorable children’s book cover.
