About
Hi, I’m Emilie Scalise, a Columbus-based artist and author blending drawing, painting, and graphic design. I grew up in Smyrna, Georgia, and I’m passionate about creating work that ranges from intimate studio drawings to public murals and children’s books.
I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a thesis focus in drawing and graphic design at Columbus State University. My work has been shown in venues like the Illges Gallery and the Bo Bartlett Center, and I’ve earned honors including a SRACE grant for my thesis and a Silver ADDY award, as well as recognition as a delegate at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
