Over a three-year period, I trained in a wide range of industry-focused creative, software, and professional skills. This included learning how to use new programs such as Autodesk Maya and a variety of Adobe programs. Alongside, developing presentation, pitching, team working, and project management skills. For example, giving presentations to my tutors/peers, working as part of a team to create short animations and documenting my creative and 3D production process online and for print. My time on this course taught me how to organise my work and become detailed orientated- as animation requires you to be methodical and have a highly organised way of working. Also the nature of animation is that it is very timing consuming and slow process which means I have learnt to manage my time well and prioritise tasks. Creating a short film in my final year allowed me to develop my problem solving and decision making skills.
