I'm a graphic designer with over 28 years experience in print and digital media. In recent times, I’ve enjoyed spreading my design wings, applying my vast design experience to the corporate world. For me, the essence of great design is about clearly conveying information – without sacrificing aesthetics – which I’ve done for a range of leading companies. In 2017, I successfully launched my own website, jackandsun.com, specialising in geometric artworks and type design – with a colourful, fun twist. As well as being able to explore my own creativity, I relished the challenge of taking on an entrepreneurial role. I worked in magazines for over 20 years, on some of the biggest names in the business, from best-selling women’s monthlies and mass-market weeklies, to fashion bibles and lifestyle quarterlies. I redesigned every title, keeping them fresh, modern and exciting. I’ve been involved in numerous photo shoots, styling and art directing beauty, fashion, food and interiors pages – as well as celebrities and supermodels.
