My name is Erin and I’m a graphic designer living in Oklahoma. I’ve been working in design for 12 years and over the last decade I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and with some amazing clients. I’ve been an in-house designer for much of my career but I have also worked in book and newspaper publishing and regularly contract with multiple agencies to help with projects and production work. The most important part of my design process is communication. I have a lot of years of experience and skill but without communication I can’t help a client determine what their needs are and how to meet them. I do my best to stay on top of design trends but more importantly I make time for learning new things. Over the last year I’ve made an effort to improve my basic motion graphic skills in Adobe Animate and have begun using Figma. One of my most impactful learning experiences has been delving into the principles of UX design. UX is not my area of expertise but the processes behind it are applicable to so many other projects.

In 2016 I decided to start a greeting card business and I named it after the nicknames for my cats. All the cards were geared towards people who love simple design and sarcastic greetings. I closed Loaf and Puddle in 2018 but the card designs are available for licensing. branding branddesign illustration patterndesign greetingcards Stationery

I worked with Siren Media to create this branding for their client, Green Feather Book Company. The owner of the shop requested a design that mirrored the spiral of the golden ratio. I incorporated the spiral and created an icon with a stained glass appearance. branding branddesign logodesign illustration logo
