My name is Elejah Davis, and I’m a junior (11th grade) at West Potomac High School in Alexandria, VA. I’ve always been curious and dedicated to learning new things, whether it was teaching myself Japanese from 2019 to 2023 or taking Spanish in 2024. I may not remember every word now, but those years showed me how focused and driven I can be when I’m intrigued by something. Faith and community have also been an important part of my journey. I’m an active churchgoer at The Life Anointed Ministries, where I used to sing in the choir. Music has always been a passion of mine—I performed with the South County Middle and High School choirs, and while in SCMS Choir I earned 1st place as a Soprano 2 at Nationals, helping South County take home the Superior Ribbon across all entertainment departments. I’m also a writer, with two published books on Wattpad, both of which have gained recognition, and I’m currently working on transferring them into hard copies to be sold on Amazon. Outside of school and writing, I have hands-on experience with pet care. I’ve raised my Blue Nosed Pit Bull, Love, since 5th grade and helped her give birth in November 2023 to seven healthy puppies (and one angel pup). My family kept one of them—Kash, a Pit/American Bully mix—and I’ve played a major role in training both dogs. Love is now a registered Emotional Support Animal, and I’m proud of the patience and responsibility I’ve learned through caring for her. Finally, I also bring entrepreneurial experience through my family’s business, Davis 3D Prints LLC. Beyond creating 3D printed toys and models, we design embroidered and heat-pressed clothing and objects like mugs and bowls, and we produce vinyl work for perfumes, mirrors, cars, buildings, and more. Being involved in the business has taught me teamwork, creativity, and the value of hard work.
