uniE608 A Place To Remember - Demo Reel
"A Place To Remember" is a proof-of-concept demo reel created to support funding conversations with Executive Producers and studios. Over the course of three days, I intentionally built a deep, flexible B-roll archive capturing environments, transitions, observational moments, and emotional texture designed to support long-form documentary storytelling. Using available sound-on-tape, vérité moments, and captured footage, I crafted a short-form “trailer” that functions as both a creative demo and a sales tool. Rather than summarizing the story outright, the reel was designed to communicate tone, pacing, emotional weight, and thematic intent, giving decision-makers a clear sense of what the finished film "feels like". I focused was on translating raw, observational material into a cohesive cinematic language that could stand on its own as a pitch asset. The final demo reel was built specifically to support development and financing conversations, helping EPs and studios quickly understand the vision, scope, and emotional resonance of the proposed mini-documentary.
uniE608 Imagination Bureau - CHL Prospects Challenge Game Theatre Video
This in arena opening video was built around a simple truth... Junior hockey isn’t just about speed, skill, or spectacle. It’s about threshold moments. Futures being quietly decided. Players skating the thin line between promise and permanence. For many, this tournament represents the last anonymous games of their lives — or the first time the spotlight truly finds them. The creative ethos behind this video was to honour that gravity. Rather than leaning on familiar hockey tropes, the work focused on legacy, pressure, and transition framing the tournament not as an event, but as a crucible. A place where identity is tested, narratives are forged, and a name can move from roster to memory. “A legacy carved into ice” became the thematic spine: a reminder that while the surface is temporary, what’s proven here lasts far beyond the boards. Every creative decision pacing, tone, scale, restraint was made in service of that idea. The goal wasn’t just to hype the crowd, but to elevate the moment. To reflect the unique stakes of junior hockey, where the margin between obscurity and opportunity is razor thin, and every shift carries weight.
uniE608 Imagination Bureau - Memorial Cup Game Theatre Video
A large-scale opening video created to open the Memorial Cup and set the tone inside the arena before puck drop. Designed for a live, in-venue audience, the piece was built to generate anticipation, emotional momentum, and collective energy—blending cinematic pacing with the gravity of the tournament. The goal was to honour the legacy of the Memorial Cup while igniting the crowd and players ahead of the opening faceoff. I shaped the overall creative direction and leading the edit from concept through final delivery. This included defining the narrative arc, pacing for large-format screens, and ensuring the visuals landed with maximum impact in a live game environment. The final video was used to open the game in-arena, acting as a key moment in the Memorial Cup fan experience and contributing to the atmosphere of one of hockey’s most prestigious events.
uniE608 MLSE - Toronto Wants It All Social Video
A high-pressure, rapid-turnaround hype video created in under 48 hours to rally the city and support the Toronto Blue Jays’ 2025 postseason run. The brief required alignment across five professional sporting organizations (Toronto Maple Leafs, Argos, Toronto FC, Raptors, and the Blue Jays) while capturing the shared momentum of Toronto sports culture in a single, unified piece. The challenge wasn’t just speed, but coordination, approvals, and creative clarity under real-time playoff energy. I steered the creative under extreme time constraints. I worked closely with internal stakeholders and the edit team to align vision, maintain momentum, and push the work through approvals across all five teams, ensuring the final piece was worthy of the moment and ready to move at the pace of the city. The result was a high-impact social asset that landed immediately, energized fans, and reinforced Toronto’s collective playoff identity—delivered on time, at scale, and under pressure. Client feedback: “Huge thank you to everyone who leaned into the madness and supported a <48-hour turnaround, 5-team hype edit… led this edit to being worthy of the moment.” "The hardest co-sign of life. The work is some of the best I’ve seen… the joy you’ve brought to this city and these fans is immeasurable.”
uniE608 Bloor West Village - Where We Belong Campaign Video
A community-driven campaign video created to celebrate the identity, character, and local pride of Bloor West Village. The piece was designed to feel warm, authentic, and human—capturing the rhythm of the neighbourhood through its people, small businesses, and shared spaces. The focus was less on promotion and more on the thematic of "belonging"... reinforcing Bloor West Village as a place defined by connection, culture, and everyday moments. I lead the project from concept through final delivery. This included shaping the creative approach, capturing on-location footage, and crafting the final narrative and pacing in post-production to ensure the campaign felt genuine, inclusive, and emotionally resonant. The final video was used as a central campaign asset across digital and community-facing platforms.
uniE608 LCH - Cliffside Condos Campaign Video
This cinematic brand campaign video was created to introduce Cliffside Condos and position the development as a premium, lifestyle-driven residential offering. The goal was to balance architectural clarity with emotional resonance—highlighting the space, surroundings, and aspirational tone while keeping the pacing modern and engaging for digital platforms. I led the project end-to-end. This included concept development, visual direction, on-set cinematography, and post-production—shaping the final narrative, pacing, and visual language to align with the brand’s marketing goals. The final asset was designed for web and social use, supporting both awareness and sales-driven campaign objectives.
