Space School is a narrative-driven picture book project that explores the intersection of imaginative world-building and early childhood education through visual storytelling. The book constructs a speculative learning environment set in outer space, using fantasy as a framework to reflect on children’s emotional and social development within familiar educational contexts.

The project positions the “school” not only as a physical setting but as a metaphorical space for growth, adaptation, and identity formation. By relocating this experience into a cosmic environment, the work seeks to reframe learning as an open-ended, exploratory process rather than a fixed system.
