My formal path in art began at Marmara University’s Fine Arts Academy in Istanbul, where I studied painting between 1996 and 2000. Those years grounded me in the discipline of looking how form, texture, and silence could speak their own language. In 2004, I completed my Master’s degree, writing my thesis “The Art Object That the Plural Aesthetic Experience Presents,” which explored how artworks generate multiple emotional and intellectual readings. Soon after, I was invited to the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam, supported by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, an experience that deepened my engagement with cross-disciplinary production and the European art scene. Later, during a research residency at Viafarini in Milan (2009), I continued exploring the relationship between visual form, technology, and narrative structures.
