Hello! I’m Filipe Capontes, a passionate audio engineer and music producer graduate with 10+ years of hands-on experience in music production, mixing, and mastering.

I founded The Shed Recording Studios in Grantham, collaborating with artists to deliver broadcast-quality audio and creative soundscapes. Recently I edited and mixed episodes for The Changes Podcast, showcasing my ability to adapt to narrative and dialogue-driven formats. I’m currently expanding into immersive podcast and audiobook post-production.

As a freelance Music Producer & Engineer, I deliver polished tracks for streaming platforms and promotional campaigns while managing end-to-end post-production, including mastering and file delivery. I enjoy close collaborations with vocalists and artists to craft tailored soundscapes, and I also mentor students through After-School Music Club projects at West Grantham Academy, helping young musicians build confidence and technical skills.
