I'm Flora Cheng, an international composer, conductor, and orchestrator from Los Angeles, California. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and I currently serve as the Lakewood-Cerritos Branch President of the Music Teachers Association of California. I was nominated for the Macondo Awards (Academia Colombiana de Cine) for the film Sara - La Fuerza Del Mar, directed by Martin Gutierrez and Andrés Ricardo, and I had the honor of performing live at the Academy ceremony, which was broadcast on TNT and HBO Max. My album ICARUS, released in November 2019, was performed live at the Epic Lounge in Downey, CA. My track Solitary received Global Music Awards recognition, and the music video was selected for several film festivals. I arrange orchestral music for Lupita Infante and the San Francisco Symphonic Orchestra during National Hispanic Heritage Month, and I travel to various countries to give master classes on Film Scoring in Post Production. I am always looking for opportunities to collaborate.
