    uniE603 Hip-Hop Master
This project involved mastering a stereo mix of a hip-hop track that arrived with an unbalanced low end and harsh mids. Despite limited control over the original mix, I was able to bring it to a competitive loudness level while improving clarity, punch, and tonal balance. Techniques Used: Multiband compression for mid/side energy control Harmonic enhancement for presence without harshness Stereo imaging to widen the soundstage Final limiting for streaming-level loudness master
    uniE603 Full Hip-Hop Mix
This track was mixed from raw multitrack stems, allowing full control over tone, depth, and spatial energy. My focus was to highlight the vocal’s emotion while keeping the low end tight and driving — blending the rawness of hip-hop with the ambience of cinematic storytelling. I used a detailed chain of EQ, compression, and effects to carve space, add warmth, and bring the record to life. Every element was shaped with intention to feel immersive, emotional, and stream-ready. Key Techniques Used: Vocal enhancement with analog-modeled EQ and harmonic saturation Layered reverbs and delay throws for atmosphere and contrast Sidechain and automation to maintain low-end impact without clutter Subtle parallel compression and FX returns for texture and energy shifts music
    uniE603 Post-Production/Narrative Audio
This is the first episode of an original voice-driven series exploring the subtle mechanisms of psychological control in media. I handled all aspects of post-production, including voice editing, immersive sound design, and cinematic audio scoring. The goal was to support a powerful narrative using ambient textures, emotionally reactive music, and subtle spatial cues — all while keeping the message clear and the listener immersed. This piece demonstrates my ability to create emotionally intelligent audio environments from the ground up. Responsibilities: Voice cleanup and dynamic leveling Tonal shaping and de-essing Ambience layering for narrative immersion Music editing and transitions for emotional pacing Final mastering for cinematic loudness and clarity master instrumental voiceover
    uniE603 Two-Track Mix – Aggressive Rap (Vocals + Beat)
This project involved mixing an aggressive rap vocal over a two-track instrumental — a common challenge in modern hip-hop workflows. Despite limited control over the instrumental itself, I was able to carve space for the vocal, control dynamics, and bring the entire track to a polished, punchy final mix. The artist wanted energy, grit, and clarity — with layered ad-libs, heavy vocal presence, and a hard-hitting feel. I used a combination of dynamic shaping, saturation, and stereo tricks to give the vocal intensity and character while maintaining cohesion with the beat. Key Techniques Used: Surgical EQ and multiband compression to lock the vocal into the mix Saturation and harmonic enhancement for vocal aggression without harshness Tight de-essing and transient control for upfront delivery Mid-side EQ and stereo tricks to widen the beat and clear space for vocals
