Hi, I’m a Korean-American screenwriter based in Texas. I write stories about characters from the margins of society who overcome great obstacles to be seen and heard. I love building worlds where magic happens in the smallest gestures of love, and where a tree or a lake or a fleeting thought on a summer day can become portals to phantasmagoric realms. I have won awards for my genre scripts, like THE WEST MOON CHRONICLE which was adapted from a pilot into a three-issue comic book series published by Scout Comics. I co-wrote THE DISTANT JUMP, a sci-fi action film which is now streaming on Amazon Prime. As a lifelong student of martial arts, I imbue my action scripts with accurate and adrenaline-pumping fight scenes. And as a professional dungeon master for Dungeons & Dragons, I’m steeped in the tropes of adventurous fantasy settings where mortals strive against monsters and gods.
I co-wrote a science fiction action film and helped to get it produced over the lockdown. It won Best SciFi Feature at the 2025 New York SciFi Film Fest. It is now streaming on [Amazon Prime](https://www.twine.net/signin
