Hi, I’m Gabriela Pranjić, a brand designer from Croatia and the solo brain behind GBRL Studio.

About

Hi, I’m Gabriela Pranjić, a brand designer from Croatia and the solo brain behind GBRL Studio. I like building brands with a bit of personality, a clear point of view and enough flexibility to actually grow with the people behind them.

I work across both visual and verbal branding, from figuring out what a brand wants to say and how it should sound, to making sure it actually looks the part. I love turning ideas, messy thoughts and questionable amounts of Pinterest boards into identities that feel clear, memorable and unmistakably themselves.

My work can take me pretty much anywhere from visual identities and packaging to social media, motion, product visuals, campaigns and event design. I’ve worked on everything from small brands finding their feet to large scale event and trade show projects, always with the same goal: making the idea make sense and look damn good while doing it.

I’m happiest somewhere between strategy and making things, with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and a slightly chaotic brain open at all times.

The Challenge DELUXE M already had something that many beauty brands try to create through branding: trust. The studio is built around Marija's expertise, personal approach and genuine care for her clients. The challenge was to turn those qualities into a visual identity that felt premium and professional, but still warm and personal. Instead of following the usual beauty industry formula, the goal was to create a brand that felt more like Marija: confident, approachable, knowledgeable and quietly luxurious. What I Did I developed the visual identity around the idea that healthy skin does not have a secret, it has a routine. The identity combines clean typography, a soft neutral colour palette and carefully considered details to create a visual language that feels calm, precise and trustworthy. Rather than relying on obvious beauty clichés, the system lets simplicity and consistency do the talking. Alongside the logo and core visual identity, I developed the supporting brand elements and communication direction to create a consistent experience across the studio, printed materials and digital touchpoints. The result is a brand that feels polished without becoming cold, and personal without losing its sense of expertise. The Result DELUXE M now has an identity that reflects what the studio is actually about: expertise, care and a personalised approach to beauty. It feels premium, but never intimidating. Clean, but never clinical. And most importantly, it gives the brand a personality that can build trust before a client even sits in the chair. Because healthy skin doesn't have a secret. It has a routine. Check out on Behance: https://www.behance.net/gallery/256677521/Deluxe-M-Beauty-Studio-Rebrand

The Challenge Susan Parker Kendall is a Florida-based cosmetic dentist, educator, and Head of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The challenge was to create a brand identity that reflected her authority and experience, while still leaving room for growth, curiosity and the person behind the credentials. Rather than following the usual polished and overly finished aesthetic of cosmetic dentistry, the direction focused on the idea of becoming. A brand that feels established, but never like it has stopped evolving. What I Did I developed the brand strategy and visual identity around the idea of growth as an ongoing practice. The identity combines an elegant serif typography system with soft green and cream tones, creating a sense of calm, knowledge and confidence. At the centre of the identity is the SPK monogram, built from rounded, overlapping forms that give the mark a softer and more human quality. I developed the complete logo system, monogram, typography and colour palette, alongside stationery, signage, web and social applications to create a visual language that could work across both her professional and personal presence. The Result The result is a personal brand that feels knowledgeable and established without feeling rigid or overly polished. It positions Susan as an expert, while also communicating curiosity, openness and the idea that becoming better is part of the process. The identity gives her a visual world that can grow with her, rather than trying to make her look like she has already arrived. Built through practice. Guided by curiosity. Open to becoming. The Challenge Collabia is a marketing platform built around collaboration, bringing brands, influencers and the platform itself together. The challenge was to create a logo that could communicate that idea without becoming another generic tech or marketing identity. It needed to feel modern and authoritative, but still have a visual detail that made the brand recognisable and connected to communication. What I Did I built the identity around the idea of connection. The wordmark uses interlocking forms to visually bring the different sides of Collabia together, while the custom detail in the double “L” continues into the icon, where it becomes a speech bubble. This connects the logo directly to the brand's role as a communication and collaboration tool. I developed the primary logo, secondary variations and icon, creating a flexible system that could work across everything from larger brand applications to small digital touchpoints like social profiles and favicons. The visual language stays intentionally monochrome, using bold typography and thin outlined details to create a confident, modern feel without adding unnecessary visual noise. The Result The result is a visual identity that makes collaboration part of the brand itself. The logo works as more than just a name. Its forms connect, overlap and communicate, giving Collabia a distinctive mark that can hold its own across digital and physical applications. Smart, direct and built to connect. The Challenge Nuna Nina had a name worth keeping, but its old logo belonged to a different chapter. The previous identity used bubble letters, a bed icon and a sky full of stars. It clearly said “apartments”, but very little about the people now running them. When Marija and her husband took over the business, the goal was not to start from zero. The name already had recognition. It simply needed a new face that matched where Nuna Nina was going. The challenge was finding the sweet spot between feeling like home and feeling professional enough to trust with your stay. Warm, but not overly cosy. Refined, but not cold. What I Did The whole identity started with something hiding in plain sight: the name itself. In this part of Croatia, “nuna” is what you whisper while rocking someone to sleep. Nuna Nina already sounded like a lullaby, so instead of adding another obvious hospitality symbol, I built the visual identity around that feeling. I redesigned the wordmark using a soft curve inspired by the movement of a cradle. The curve appears in both words, giving the name a gentle rhythm, while the rest of the letterforms stay structured and calm. Lowercase typography keeps the identity familiar and approachable, while “APARTMANI” in widely spaced capitals brings clarity and balance. From there, I developed the complete logo family, including horizontal, stacked and monogram versions, so the identity could work across everything from web headers and signage to social profiles, key cards and property markings. The colour palette follows the same idea: warm white, beige, golden brown and anthracite. Soft, calm and familiar, like fresh linen, morning light and warm wood. The Result The result is a visual identity that feels like Nuna Nina sounds. Instead of telling guests what an apartment should feel like through predictable hospitality symbols, the identity creates that feeling through typography, rhythm, colour and restraint. It feels warm enough to feel like home, but steady enough to trust with your stay. A name that already sounded like a lullaby now finally looks like one too. The Challenge Dr. Rita Garabet had already built a strong reputation as a cosmetic dentist, with patients choosing her for her expertise and personality, not simply for the practice she worked in. The challenge was to create a personal brand that felt as distinctive as she is. The identity needed to bring together two sides that do not usually meet in dentistry: luxury and warmth, professionalism and personality, editorial aesthetics and a little bit of rock’n’roll. What I Did I built the visual identity around Rita herself, rather than creating another polished but forgettable dental brand. The identity combines an editorial, premium aesthetic with warmer, more personal details. I developed the logo suite, typography, colour palette and supporting visual language, including the “by dr. Rita” signature for content that speaks directly in her voice. I also shaped the communication direction around her personality, using humour and a confident tone to make cosmetic dentistry feel more approachable without losing the expertise and trust that sit at the heart of her work. The Result The result is a cosmetic dentistry personal brand that feels polished and premium, but still warm, confident, and unmistakably Rita. Instead of blending into the world of traditional dental branding, the identity gives her a recognisable visual and verbal presence of her own. It creates a brand that can build trust before a patient even walks through the door, while leaving plenty of room for Rita's personality to come through.
