I’m Geno Lenardo, a songwriter, recording artist, engineer and producer from the Chicago area. My love of music began early, listening to the Beatles and Rolling Stones with my older siblings, and I studied formally at the Chicago Academy for the Arts before earning a degree in Music Production, Engineering and Composition from Berklee College of Music. My career started behind the console at Chicago Trax Recording, where I connected with the Wax Trax/Industrial scene and worked with ministry’s Al Jourgensen and Paul Barker during the sessions for Psalm 69. From touring with Chemlab and writing for their releases, to helping shape Filter’s Title of Record and later launching Device with David Draiman, I’ve worn many hats across rock, industrial, film scoring and game music. I’ve scored documentaries and independent films, contributed songs to soundtrack campaigns like Underworld: Awakening and I, Frankenstein, and helped bring Cyberpunk 2077 to life with original music. Today you can hear my work on Peppermint (Netflix) and in CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077; I’m always collaborating with artists to push creative boundaries.
