    This theatrical project is inspired by a real journalistic investigation published in Germany, in which eleven women from Berlin recount their personal experiences of gender-based violence in private, public, and professional spaces

    The testimonies reveal a disturbing continuity: violence is not an exception, but a structural condition. It ranges from sexual harassment and psychological coercion to physical assault and femicide. What emerges is not only trauma, but normalization. Many women describe how fear, self-censorship, and silence have become part of their daily lives.
    The project translates these voices into a contemporary theatrical form, contaminated by cinematic language. It blends documentary material, fictional reconstruction, and visual storytelling inspired by film grammar: close-ups, fragmented narration, abrupt cuts, and parallel scenes. The stage becomes a space where realism and abstraction coexist, echoing the way violence is both visible and systematically ignored.
    Rather than offering a single protagonist, the performance constructs a collective body of voices. The audience is placed in a position of ethical discomfort: not observers of a story, but witnesses to a system. The aim is not to illustrate violence, but to expose the mechanisms that allow it to persist: power imbalance, cultural complicity, institutional inertia.
    This project is conceived as an urgent act of testimony. Theatre here functions as a civic tool, while cinema provides rhythm, intimacy, and emotional precision. The result is a hybrid work that confronts the audience with a simple but uncomfortable truth: violence against women is not a private issue, and silence is already a form of participation.
