I'm Harry Walsh—a self-taught software developer who studied at Dev Academy Aotearoa. I'm passionate about building robust, scalable apps and automating testing and deployments. I've created CI/CD pipelines, front-end and back-end projects using HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, and SQLite, with strong test coverage using Vitest and Jest. I value clear communication, collaboration, and delivering quality software that makes a real difference. I've also been applying my knowledge by volunteering on a community app for New Zealanders called Cokoha, which was developed using react native. My role in development has been mostly around optimizing testing processes using CI pipelines, and streamlining the defect report process. I have worked extensively on implementing database changes on the back-end, as well as features on the front-end of the application alongside the other devs working on the project. In my spare time I love gaming, problem solving, and learning new technologies.
