I graduated summa cum laude from Johnson & Wales University (JWU) with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications Studies. My academic journey was complemented by several honors, including a consistent place on the Dean’s List and being featured in the Academic Symposium of Undergraduate Scholarship. These experiences honed my critical thinking, time management, and analytical skills—qualities I believe would allow me to thrive in any dynamic environment. I would like to bring to your attention my role as a Contract Designer at FireTeam, where I gained invaluable insight into the intersection of performance marketing and graphic design, as well as how to collaborate with cross-functional teams within a virtual work environment. As an intern, I very quickly learned to work with Figma and Canva; creative software that I was not professionally trained to use, but managed to master through my skills of adaptability and creative problem solving. I was primarily tasked with designing collateral for Sok-It, one of FireTeam’s many e-commerce clients. I familiarized myself with Sok-It’s developing brand identity, wherein I paid pixel-perfect attention to detail to ensure that all designs maintained a cohesive look and feel that was reflective of the brand’s vision. When my conscientious work ethic and interpersonal skills earned my transition to contract designer, my flexibility and ability to multitask prepared me to manage many projects simultaneously; especially in the face of fluctuating deadlines and aggressive turnaround times.
