Born on the 12th of July 1986 in Sydney, Australia, son of a hippie 'doofer' / party promoter, Morya has been exposed to the psychedelic trance scene since before he can remember. Traveling the globe till he was old enough to start school he finally settled down in the beautiful hills of northern New South Wales. Starting to dj in his teens under the name Maximal he quickly had dance-​floors in a spin across Australia and the globe ('Playing in-between Panick & Wrecked Machines @ Zoom Party '06 in Switzerland along with a gig at Samurai Tribe party on Okinawa, Japan were major highlights for me'). Diving into the art of 'computer music' over the last few years, Harmless Prankster is one project that has emerged, drawing inspiration from the diverse Australian party spirit to bring you his own unique take on 'Aussie Proggy'. Appearances at most major Australian festivals such as Exodus, Earth Freq, Winter Solstice Cairns, Rainbow Serpent, Freakr​eation, Harmonize, New Psycle, Bushweek, Psyfari and Splendour in the Grass have been well received and his unique style has left smiles on faces and dust in the air. Releases on labels such as Selknam, 3l3mental, Power House, Geomagnetic and TORI Records have helped spread the Harmless Prankster sound globally. He describes his tunes as 'a combination of earl grey tea, cold beer and tightly rolled spliffs, mixed together on a swivel chair amongst the gum trees'...
