I am a freelance illustrator creating compelling visual stories for personal and professional. My mission is to elevate written stories by creating a vibrant visual world to engage readers. I’m skilled in developing engaging story-driven visuals and producing materials such as flyers, social media posts, zines, and journals.
I have worked three years as the main Illustrator for a Chicago nonprofit, illustrating their book and related materials (website, flyers, etc.). My experience also includes teaching as a Teaching Assistant for college courses, supporting creative processes across disciplines and guiding students with tool usage and safe, efficient workflows.
WE Bridge The GapsTM (WBTG) is an Chicago based non-profit organization created and run by Wanda Clevenger (MM, BSN, BCPA). I created illustrations for the WBTG website and Wanda’s book “Connecting is Medicine.” The book serves to tell real stories of patients and providers navigating the healthcare system in the US, and teaches readers to advocate for themselves.
Illustrated WBTG’s book Connecting is Medicine and supported related materials including the website and flyers. The book shares patient and provider stories in medical settings, advocating for learning to advocate for oneself and for making the system work better for patients.
